I've got a quick question.
If you are using a Dynamic IP Address, are you able to open ports, and leave them open for next time you restart your router? Because with mine, when it says to restart, it will get rid of the open ports because I have a dynamic IP and the support files say you need a Static IP. I was just wondering if there was actually a way to make it so that the ports don't close when you restart the router.
The reason why I ask this is because I wish to host a game server, but my router blocks it because of the firewall and/or the ports are closed.
If that's confusing, i'll refrase in simpler words.

Hey Guys,

Spent all morning trying to forward a port for Utorrent. Im all out of ideas. Basically Ive got my computer with a Dlink N wireless reciever, connected to a Dlink DIR-615 N Router, connected to a Dlink DSL 502T II Modem.

Ive tried port forwarding within the Router, but Utorrent still says that the port isnt open.

Am I doing something wrong? Ive tried setting a static ip etc etc
Here is a website that I designed for fast cash loans company.

Hi Glory,

Sorry no one has gotten back to you earlier.. I'm not sure what the owner of this site is doing...

WHen forwarding ports you need to make sure you have the Port Opened in both, the modem and router...
